Cardstock Bows

These handmade cardstock bows will make any gift extra special. Take it a step further and make a hadmade card with using some of the same cardstock!

First cut 13 strips or cardstock. If you are using a 12" x 12" sheet, make the strips 0.9" x 6" and you should be able to make two bows from 1 sheet. To make the mini bows, cut your strips 0.5" x 3". Bow
Once you have them all ready, take the strips, one at a time and bend one end around and back over the other end (see picture! this is hard to explain but easy to do!) and adhere with a glue dot, a glue stick or hot glue gun. You can probably staple the two ends together. Make sure that you make a nice point when you are folding them. Fold 12 of the strips as per these instructions and set aside to dry completely. Bow
Now take 4 of the folded strips. Place two across from each other with the ends overlapping and the points facing away from each other. Adhere them where they overlap. Do this with two more strips and then adhere those on top of the other two. The points should be staggered in a circle, in a flower like shape.
Now attach 4 more folded strips above the 4 you just did. Do this one more time.
Now you should have one strip left. Roll it into a loop and adhere the ends. Glue this loop into the center of your bow.
