I’m using Windows Writer to type up this post – this is my first time using this program so if the post looks a little funny, please excuse it. I actually AM connected to the internet right now, but I thought it prudent to find a reliable offline editor ‘just in case’. I have no idea what situation I could possibly get myself into where I’d be A. stranded without the internet AND B. without my Blackberry (which can function as a modem) and C. with my laptop and D. really needing to blog right then and there. Well, you never know and I’m feeling better now that I’m prepared
If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I have an Etsy shop that I am trying to spend more of my time on. Nothing has changed, I am still planning on doing all the same things to boost sales in my Etsy shop! But why not get as much exposure as possible? I have a list of good places to set up shop online on my website Lady Bones Online with tons of links to shops and their basic pros and cons, and fees (you can see the whole list here). I am going to set up shop EVERYWHERE I CAN and I’ll let you know where I’m making the most sales! Then you can chose for yourself.
So far, I’ve set up a shop on Silk Fair. You can see it here. So far we have NOT had a single sale. The absolute best part about a shop on Silk Fair is that if you have an Etsy shop already, you can just import it into Silk Fair! Why wouldn’t you do that? It is almost labour free and you’re getting your products seen by more people, which I’m determined WILL pay off eventually. I haven’t been a part of the Silk Fair community at all yet, so maybe tat has something to do with the lack of sales. I’m not sure, but I’ll be focussing on my Silk Fair shop in another post. If you use Etsy you will feel completely at home on Silk Fair too. Its very straightforward and well organized. They also offer a widget for your other websites and blogs… maybe I’ll add the widget to this blog so people can see it….
Do YOU sell on Silk Fair? Have you had any success? What do you do to promote your Silk Fair shop?

Wow! Checked out your website, Lady Bones Online. Great links to shops! Gonna check em all out! Thanks for posting!
