I’m using Windows Writer to type up this post – this is my first time using this program so if the post looks a little funny, please excuse it. I actually AM connected to the internet right now, but I thought it prudent to find a reliable offline editor ‘just in case’. I have no idea what situation I could possibly get myself into where I’d be A. stranded without the internet AND B. without my Blackberry (which can function as a modem)... 

 And now for a little update on my Facebook and Etsy campaigns… The Facebook fan/like campaign is definitely working! Link Love is the hugest reason that I’ve managed to increase our fan base so much in such a short period of time. I’m definitely not sure if this is going to lead to sales, there is an argument that you are getting only other ‘sellers’ and no ‘buyers’ but I don’t see why a person... 

Phew! What a weekend! We had a table at the Make It Handmade Revolution craft show in Vancouver. For anyone who is following this blog, you know it was our THIRD craft show. Taking sales out of it completely, I need to give props to Chandler and Jenna who put on this show, as this was NO Mickey Mouse operation! They have put on several successful shows and have quite a following online. The event was advertised all over the web, probably mostly...

The Two Crafty Chicks (aka, me and Val!) have been accepted to the Make It craft fair. This super fun event is taking place May 1st and 2nd at the Croatian Cultural center at 3250 Commercial Drive in Vancouver. This only happens once a year so please come out and show your support! There will be over 100 Canadian artisans (this is the biggest event of this kind in western Canada) and DJs and BOOZE! It should be tons of fun. You can save 2$ off the... 

On February 21st, we had our second craft fair – Blim Market on Main Street. It took place in the gorgeous Heritage Hall. At $50 per table, we were definitely hoping for more traffic than there was, but it was a huge improvement over our first craft show experience at Magee High School. In all fairness, it was a beautiful day in Vancouver, mid Olympics, so I think most people were enjoying the events at the Olympic venues. I will say that we...
